China anti-graft body criticises business drinking after Alibaba scandal

SHANGHAI: China's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, its top enemy of defilement office, has scrutinized what it called a "disturbing" culture of business drinking following a rape embarrassment at online business monster Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.

The piece approaches individuals to break "implicit guidelines" like forced drinking. 

On Sunday, a female Alibaba staff member claimed that she was physically attacked by her administrator and a customer while on an excursion for work. 

The episode caused a tempest on Chinese online media and a public reaction against Alibaba. 

The staff member asserted that she was constrained into drinking while at a supper meeting. She said that when she related the occasion to a significant level chief, he portrayed drinking as important to work together. 

On Monday, Alibaba CEO Daniel Zhang declared that the supposed culprit, alongside a few other Alibaba staff, had been terminated. He likewise encouraged Alibaba representatives to feel engaged to dismiss drinking liquor.
