SPB awarded Padma Vibhushan posthumously

Amazing vocalist S P Balasubrahmanyam was post mortem respected with the Padma Vibhushan at a service in the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday. Balasubrahmanyam's child SP Charan got the honor for his dad's benefit from President Ram Nath Kovind. 

The authority Rashtrapati Bhavan Twitter handle shared a photograph and expressed, "President Kovind presents Padma Vibhushan to Shri S.P. Balasubrahmanyam (Posthumous) for Art. One of the main figures of Indian film, especially the southern Indian film industry, he was a first class playback vocalist in different dialects. 

Balasubrahmanyam, prevalently known as SPB, died in September 2020 after COVID-19 entanglements at 74 years old. His vocation had traversed fifty years in the entertainment world and had won six National Film Awards for his works in four unique dialects, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi. He is viewed as quite possibly the most regarded singing legends of Indium.
