NEW DELHI: Union telecom serve Ashwini Vaishnaw on Wednesday said the present and future obligation liabilities will keep on excess with the telecom organizations that have proposed to change over their advantage liabilities installment into value.
Obligation ridden Vodafone Idea Ltd (VIL), Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL) and Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd (TTML) have proposed to change over their individual interest risk payable on duty to the public authority into value. Post transformation, the public authority will have stakes in the three organizations.
"Government will stay a financial backer as it were. The organizations will be controlled by the experts. All the obligation liabilities will remain liability of the organizations. The organizations have given us responsibility," Vaishnaw told PTI in a meeting.
