KYIV, UKRAINE: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said late Monday he was ready to talk about a responsibility from Ukraine not to look for Nato enrollment in return for a truce, the withdrawal of Russian soldiers and an assurance of Ukraine's security.

"It's a split the difference for everybody: for the West, which doesn't have any idea how to manage us as to Nato, for Ukraine, which needs security ensures, and for Russia, which doesn't need further Nato extension," Zelenskyy said late Monday in a meeting with Ukrainian TV slots.
