Twitter CEO confirms that Elon Musk will not be joining the Twitter's board


Elon Musk has decided not to join Twitter board: CEO Parag Agrawal

 NEW DELHI: Elon Musk, Twitter Inc's greatest investor, has chosen not to join the online entertainment organization's board, the organization's CEO Parag Agrawal said in a tweet on Monday.


In an articulation, Agrawal said that he and the organization's board had numerous conversations with Elon over joining the board.

Musk, who uncovered a 9.2% stake in Twitter only a couple of days prior, was offered a board seat and his arrangement was to become powerful on Saturday.


However, "Elon shared that very morning that he will never again be joining the board", Agrawal said in a note on Twitter.


"We were eager to work together and clear about the dangers. We likewise trusted that Elon as a trustee of the organization where he, similar to all board individuals, needs to act to the greatest advantage of the organization and every one of our investors, was the best way ahead. The board offered him a seat," Agrawal said.


Musk had on Saturday recommended changes to Twitter Blue premium membership administration, including cutting its cost, prohibiting publicizing and giving a choice to pay in the cryptographic money dogecoin.
