Iraqi parliament swears in new members to replace Sadrists

IRAQ: Iraq's parliament swore in new legislators on Thursday to supplant 73 individuals from a coalition drove by Moqtada al-Sadr after the strong Shi'i'te Muslim pastor requested that they step down in the midst of a drawn out impasse over shaping an administration.

The deluge of new legislators is probably going to fortify the place of Sadr's Iran-moved rivals in parliament.
