NHAI to raise ₹20k crore from monetisation

 NEW DELHI: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has put out a rundown of 14 NH projects with a total length of 1,750 km which will be adapted during the ongoing monetary year. The parkways authority has set the objective to raise Rs 20,000 crore from the adaptation of these tasks.


"The distinguished resources will be adapted through cost work and move (TOT), InVIT and cost securitisation. We hope to get a decent reaction as these are great income producing extends," said an authority.


The distinguished undertakings incorporate the 252 km stretch of Hyderabad-Bangalore roadway, Srikakulam-Vijayawada (239 km), Hyderabad-Nagpur (252 km) and Gandhidham-Kandla-Mundhra Port (56 km) NH extends.


During 2021-22, the NHAI had raised Rs 8,000 crore through adaptation of five tasks representing 400 km through the primary tranche of InVIT. InvITs are aggregate speculation vehicles like a common asset, which empowers direct financial venture from individual and institutional financial backers in framework projects which procure them a little piece of the pay as return.
