Instagram unavailable to thousands of users, according to Downdetector

Huge number of clients of Meta Platforms Inc's Instagram on Thursday announced issues with the photograph sharing application, as indicated by Downdetector.com.


Almost 24,000 clients of Instagram were affected by 5 pm ET, as per blackout following site Downdetector, which gathers status reports from various sources in the United States.


"We're mindful that certain individuals are experiencing difficulty getting to Instagram. We're attempting to restore things once again and apologize for any bother," a Meta representative said in a messaged explanation.

Toward the end of last year, Meta had an almost six-extended blackout which kept WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger far off for billions of clients.
