 From discussing his forthcoming movie Natchathiram Nagargiradhu and container Indian movies to discussing why he evades groups and how comparable is Attakathi to his life, chief Pa Ranjith gets authentic in this visit with The Indian Express.

It has quite recently been a decade since Pa Ranjith made his entrance into Tamil film with Attakathi. However, it seems to be the chief has been a harbinger of progress and accomplished a considerable amount in 10 years. It wouldn't be an embellishment to say Pa Ranjith has started a development of sorts in Tamil film. Films like Pariyerum Perumal or Seththumaan wouldn't exist had Ranjith not made Attakathi and Madras. In an extended discussion with the chief, I test whether he knows about his commitment, his forthcoming film Natchathiram Nagargiradhu, container Indian movies, and apparent sensitivity.
