Famous comic entertainer Raju Srivastava is "basic and on ventilator" in the emergency unit of the AIIMS, said clinic sources on Thursday. Following a coronary episode on Wednesday, the 58-year-old professional comedian was confessed to the clinic where he went through angioplasty.
"He is basic and on ventilator in the ICU," the source told PTI. Srivastava's cousin Ashok Srivastava had on Wednesday night said the comic experienced a coronary failure while working out.
"He was doing his standard activity and keeping in mind that he was on the treadmill, he unexpectedly tumbled down. He experienced a cardiovascular failure and was quickly taken to the AIIMS medical clinic," he had told PTI, adding that the entertainer humorist's significant other Shikha Srivastava had arrived at Delhi.
Srivastava, who has been dynamic in media outlets since late 1980s, got acknowledgment subsequent to partaking in the main time of stand-up parody show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2005. He has showed up in Hindi movies like Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa (redo) and Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya. He was one of the hopefuls on Bigg Boss season three.
