HONIARA: A solid 7.0 greatness tremor struck the Solomon Islands on Tuesday, with observers detailing shaking that heaved TVs and different things to the ground.
"This was a major one," Satisfaction Nisha, a secretary with the Legacy Park Lodging in the capital, told AFP. "A portion of the things in the lodging fell. Everybody appears to be alright, yet panicky."
A wave cautioning was given for a region of the Solomons coast inside 300 kilometers (185 miles) of the focal point.
