Earthquakes of 4.7 and 5.3 magnitude hit Nepal's Baglung district

4.7 and 5.3 magnitude earthquakes strike Baglung district of Nepal


 KATHMANDU: The National Earthquake Monitoring & Research Center (NEMRC), Nepal, reports that in the early hours of Wednesday, two earthquakes with magnitudes 4.7 and 5.3 struck Nepal's Baglung district.


An earthquake measuring 4.7 struck Adhikari Chaur in the Baglung District at 01:23 local time, according to the center's readings.


A tweet from NEMRC stated, "An Earthquake of ml 4.7 occurred around Adhikari Chaur of Baglung District at 01:23 on 2079/09/13 NEMRC/DMG."


NEMRC, Nepal tweeted that the second earthquake, measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale, occurred near Khunga in the Baglung District at 02:07 local time.


The tweet stated that "An Earthquake of ml 5.3 occurred around Khunga of Baglung District at 02:07 on 2079/09/13 NEMRC/DMG."


There have been no reports of property or life loss as of yet.
