WASHINGTON: Monday, Donald Trump said that lawmakers in the House had suggested "fake charges" against him in an effort to prevent him from running for president again.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump stated, "The Fake charges made by the highly partisan Unselect Committee of January 6th have already been submitted, prosecuted, and tried in the form of Impeachment Hoax #2." I won with conviction."
He stated, "This whole business of prosecuting me is a partisan attempt to sideline me and the Republican Party, just like impeachment was."
