Watch: Bhanuka Rajapaksa's dismissal by Umran Malik's scorching shot

Watch: Umran Malik's scorcher to dismiss Bhanuka Rajapaksa

Delhi, India: A fast bowler rushing in to hurl brisk deliveries is one of the best cricket sights. India have also discovered a tearaway quick in Umran Malik, who drops fast balls with alarming regularity.

Umran had already broken Jasprit Bumrah's record for bowling the fastest ball by an Indian by dismissing skipper Dasun Shanaka with a 155 kph scorcher in the first T20I against Sri Lanka on Tuesday in Mumbai.

In addition, during the second Twenty20 International on Thursday in Pune, Umran hurled yet another quick delivery that broke the stumps of Sri Lanka's No. Bhanuka Rajapaksa, the third batsman.

Umran bowled to Rajapaksa, who was left-handed, from around the wicket. He hit a 147 kph delivery that skidded through the back of a length and came in. Rajapaksa was caught in a terrible position trying to play against the angle. As Rajapaksa tried to angle it down to third man, he ran out of room, so he cut it off the inside edge and dropped it on the stumps.

Rajapaksa was penalized for two, and Umran celebrated in the usual manner.

Umran is certain to make this series one to remember, despite Sri Lanka's 16-run victory to level the series at 1-1.
