Concerns have been raised regarding TikTok's data practices and the possibility of the company disclosing American citizens' personal information to Chinese authorities.
On Monday, Vice President Joe Biden stated that he was unsure whether the United States would outlaw the Chinese-owned short video app TikTok.
"I'm unsure. When a reporter asked about TikTok after Biden returned from a weekend retreat in Camp David, he said, "I know I don't have it on my phone."
