WARSAW: During a visit to Poland on Tuesday, US President Joe Biden said that NATO was stronger than ever ahead of the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
A day after making an unexpected visit to Kyiv, Vice President Biden told Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda, "I would argue that Nato is stronger than it's ever been."
During the bilateral talks that were partially broadcast on Polish state television, he stated, "I can proudly say that our support for Ukraine is unwavering."
Poland's support for Ukraine and its people, according to Biden, is "truly extraordinary."
"We can see that America can keep the world order," Duda stated, praising Biden.
Later on Tuesday, Biden is scheduled to give a speech in Warsaw.
He will meet with the leaders of nine nations on the eastern flank of NATO on Wednesday.
