As India is hosting the G20 presidency, Amitabh Kant, India's G20 sherpa, claims that the group is in the process of setting up a fund to help low- and middle-income countries with their digital transformation. This will help push open architecture solutions like Aadhaar and UPI, he says.
He says that the economic situation on a global scale is challenging, but the India is shining bright even during this situation.
He also talked about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while adding that such a fund could help smaller countries gain open source technology and help them import new ways of doing things using technology.
