Apple has at last delivered the steady iOS 16.4 update for all qualified iPhones. This most recent iterative update adds 21 new emojis, fixes some bugs, and introduces minor new features. The update is now available in additional markets and further improves crash detection on the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The iOS 16.4 update will have a size of approximately 1.8GB if you were running iOS 16.3.1. However, the update could be as large as 5GB if you were using an earlier version of iOS 16. These updates can be downloaded and installed using the 5G network or through a Wi-Fi network.
Enable automatic updates in Settings > General > Software Update to download and install iOS 16.4. Then, to update your iPhone to iOS 16.4, click "Install Now." To download it quickly, ensure that your iPhone is connected to a Wi-Fi or 5G network. Additionally, before beginning the software update process, check that the iPhone has at least 50% battery remaining.
Update to iOS 16.4: What is new?
This is an incremental update that has been released to improve iOS 16's stability. The update presents 21 new emoticons, for example, creatures, hand motions, and articles, which can be gotten to through the emoticon console. In a similar vein, the update now enables users to conveniently add web app notifications to the home screen.
Voice Isolation, which prioritizes the user's voice and blocks out external noise, is also included in iOS 16.4 to improve the quality of voice calls. The iPhone can now identify duplicate videos and photos in the shared iCloud photo library thanks to the most recent update.
