Meta, the social media colossus owned by Elon Musk, recently made it possible for users in the United States to have their Meta accounts (Facebook and Instagram) verified with a blue tick for $14.99 per month. Meta Verified will now cost a staggering Rs 1,450 per month on mobile devices and Rs 1,099 per month if subscribed through a web browser, according to reports.
Meta verified will mark Instagram and Facebook accounts with a blue checkmark, just like the Twitter Blue subscription. To get their Facebook and Instagram accounts verified, interested users must join the waiting list for the beta version of Meta verified.
Meta verified accounts will receive additional features and capabilities, including proactive protection, direct customer support, increased reach, and exclusive extras, in addition to the blue tick mark that is added to the profile. Please note that businesses and individuals under the age of 18 cannot use Meta verified at this time.
Who is eligible for the program that is meta-verified?
Verification of an account is possible for any Facebook or Instagram user who is at least 18 years old. With minimal activity, users can have their accounts verified, regardless of whether they have a public or private profile. Similarly, as a verification document, one must also submit a government ID with a picture and name that match.
