In the sixth match of IPL 2023, the Lucknow Super Giants, one of the two new teams that were introduced last season, will play the four-time champion Chennai Super Kings. Captains that will be facing each other would be MS Dhoni vs KL Rahul.
Currently CSK is in 7th position of the IPL table while LSG is at the top 2. CSK has lost the only match that it played against GT in the season opening.
Comparing to the last year season, CSK was at 9th position after the league matches while LSG was at the third.
The match would be played in the CSK's home stadium of MA Chidambaram Stadium. The expected weather is sunny with a high of 33 degrees and low of 28. The humidity might play a part in the performance of the players.
