According to the Telegraph, England fast bowler Jofra Archer underwent a minor operation on his troublesome right elbow earlier this month. However, the procedure isn't expected to hurt his chances of being selected for the Ashes series against Australia.
Bowman has previously gotten back to activity in the Indian Head Association subsequent to passing on four matches. His mentor at the Mumbai Indians, Imprint Boucher, said on April 8 that the 28-year-old had gotten a "little niggle".
Archer had traveled to Belgium for the procedure, according to a Tuesday report in The Telegraph.
This season, Archer has made two appearances for Mumbai, taking two wickets. He was rested for the loss to Gujarat Titans on Tuesday, but he might play against Rajasthan Royals this weekend.
Due to elbow and back injuries, Archer, who took 22 wickets for England in the 2019 Ashes, has not played a Test since February 2021. In late January, after 17 months off, he made his comeback.
Paul Farbrace, the head coach of Sussex, stated last month that Archer would probably not play any red-ball games before the Ashes.
The initial Remains Test will be held at Edgbaston from June 16.
