Lionel Messi future undecided, says father after Saudi links

 

BARCELONA: Lionel Messi's dad and specialist Jorge demanded Tuesday the Paris Holy person Germain forward has not chosen where he will play next season, after a source told AFP he would finish paperwork for a Saudi Bedouin side.
The Argentina captain's contract with PSG expires in June, and a person close to the negotiations said it was "a done deal" that he would move to the Saudi league with former Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, Jorge Messi stated that his son would only decide his future at the conclusion of the season.

"There is literally nothing concurred with any club for the following year," composed Messi's dad on Instagram.

"Before Lionel finishes the league with PSG, the decision will not be made.
After the season is over, it will be time to evaluate the available options and make a decision.

Jorge Messi went on to say, "There are always rumours and many use Lionel's name to gain notoriety, but the truth is only one, and we can assure you that nothing is agreed with anyone."

In January, Ronaldo signed a massive contract with Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr that would last until 2025 and is said to be worth more than $439 million.

Previous Barcelona striker Messi joined PSG in 2021 however is enduring an onslaught from allies after the club were wiped out from the Bosses Association in the last 16 briefly season running.
