Airtel's Q4 revenue increased by 49% to Rs3,000 crore


 

Delhi, India: On the back of new 4G customers and strong growth in average revenue per user (Arpu), Bharti Airtel's consolidated net profit for the January-March quarter of FY23 increased by 49% to Rs 3,006 crore on Tuesday. The telecom company had reported a net profit of Rs 2,008 crore during the same time period a year earlier.

From Rs 31,500 crore in the March 2022 quarter, Bharti Airtel's consolidated revenue from operations increased by 14% to Rs 36,009 crore in the reported quarter.

“As we come to the end of the fiscal year having further strengthened our portfolio, this has been another strong quarter. Our attention on securing quality clients has brought about 7. Bharti Airtel MD Gopal Vittal stated, "We exit the quarter with an industry-leading Arpu of Rs 193 and 4 million new 4G customers." Airtel left the final quarter and monetary year with an Arpu of Rs 193 contrasted with Rs 178 that it kept in Walk 2022 quarter. An Arpu of Rs 178 had been reported by the rival Reliance Jio. 8 during the Walk quarter.
