Delhi, India: After Ed-Tech giant BYJUs left the market at the end of the previous fiscal year, the BCCI issued a call for tender applications from business organizations that were interested in receiving lead sponsorship rights for the national cricket team.
BYJUs, which had reduced its branding, had a $35 million deal for the front of the Indian men's team jersey, which is the most visible area.
In a press release, BCCI secretary Jay Shah stated, "The BCCI invites bids from reputed entities for the acquisition of the National Team Lead Sponsor Rights."
The bid report can be purchased for a non-refundable charge of Rs 5 lakh and last date of acquisition of will be June 26.
The ITT must be purchased by any interested party who submits a bid. However, only those who meet the ITT's eligibility requirements and adhere to its other terms and conditions will be permitted to bid. It is clarified that no one can bid simply by purchasing the ITT," Shah stated.
