Thank you, Sir MS Dhoni. Rahmanullah Gurbaz of Afghanistan receives a signed jersey from Chennai Super Kings's captain

Delhi, India: MS Dhoni, the legendary wicketkeeper and batsman, is adored by more than just his fans; young cricketers all over the world also have a strong desire to meet their idol or to play with him.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz, an Afghanistan wicketkeeper and batsman, was the latest to join the movement. On Tuesday, Dhoni sent him a signed jersey from Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

During the 16th IPL, the legendary Indian batter Sunil Gavaskar even got his shirt signed by the captain who won the world cup twice.

A picture of a CSK jersey that Dhoni had given to Gurbaz was posted on Twitter. Gurbaz wrote, "Thanks @msdhoni sir for sending the gift from India all the way."

During the IPL 2023, Gurbaz played for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and had a few good innings. He scored 227 runs in 11 innings at a strike rate of 133.52, including a few fifties.

Before being traded to KKR this year, the right-handed batter was a member of the Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022.
