MUMBAI: India's market capitalization hit a new high on Thursday, reaching Rs. 295 lakh crore as a result of consistent foreign fund purchases since March. At the conclusion of trading, the BSE market capitalisation (mcap), or the value of all listed companies, ended slightly lower at Rs 293.5 lakh crore. On December 14, 2022, the highest-ever closing market cap was Rs 294.8 lakh crore.
