A Foxconn unit is in talks with Tamil Nadu for a $200 million component facility'

 


CHENNAI: A Foxconn auxiliary is in converses with India's Tamil Nadu state to contribute up to $200 million to construct another plant for electronic parts in the southern district, two sources with direct information told Reuters on Wednesday.


Brand Cheng, President of Foxconn Modern Web (FII) , and other organization delegates last week met Tamil Nadu authorities remembering its main priest to examine ventures for the express, the public authority said in a proclamation after the gathering, without expounding.


FII, which makes correspondence, versatile organization and distributed computing gear, has imparted an arrangement to state authorities to at first put $180 million to $200 million in the office, expressed one of the sources.
