Crimean Bridge traffic suspended, reports of explosions

 


Russian-installed officials stated on Monday that "an emergency" had caused traffic to stop on the Crimean Bridge, while Ukrainian media reported blasts on the bridge.

Sergei Aksyonov, a Russian-introduced lead representative, said the crisis happened on the 145th mainstay of the scaffold which connects the Crimean promontory to the Russian district of Krasnodar. He gave no further detail.

The RBC-Ukraine news organization revealed that blasts were heard on the extension.
