Senate employees claim that Chinese hackers stole 60k US state department emails in '23


WASHINGTON: Chinese programmers who accessed the email records of business secretary Gina Raimondo and other government authorities this year took 60,000 messages from the state division alone, as per two individuals acquainted with a preparation Senate staff individuals got with regards to this issue Wednesday.

The messages came from 10 state division email accounts, division authorities told Senate staff individuals, as indicated by individuals acquainted with the instructions, one of whom is a staff part for Representative Eric Schmitt. Nine of the 10 email accounts had a place with individuals dealing with East Asian and Pacific issues.
