As the volcano in Papua New Guinea erupts, flights are canceled and locals are told to leave

 


SYDNEY: A few occupants of a distant Papua New Guinea island were planning on Tuesday to clear from the area of an ejecting spring of gushing lava that shot a haze of debris very high constraining the crossing out of certain flights.
