High Court citation MD SpiceJet


 NEW DELHI: The Delhi high court has asked SpiceJet MD Ajay Singh to show up before it in January in procedures connecting with a disagreement regarding interest levy on arbitral honor of over Rs 570 crore passed for the carrier's previous advertiser Kalanithi Maran.

HC's heading came after Maran's legal advisor expressed that while SpiceJet needed to pay Rs 440 crore to them towards interest emerging out of contribution from an arbitral honor, it had paid just Rs 100 crore. SpiceJet's backer contended the due as per them is just Rs 194 crore. The legal advisor added that SpiceJet has been battling to keep itself above water and that pushing the organization to pay in real money would be unfavorable to all gatherings included.
