KOLKATA: With the third era making a section into the business, the Rs 30,000-crore Emami bunch is hoping to wander into 7 to 8 new verticals in the following 3-4 years.

Wednesday, group director Aditya V Agarwal stated that Emami would enter consumer-focused categories. He stated that the group's primary focus areas would be on healthcare, personal care products, and food.

McKinsey, a major consulting firm, has been hired to find Emami and Emami Agrotech's best categories. While Emami earns a revenue of Rs 5,000 crore, Emami Agrotech has a revenue of Rs 18,000 crore.

In 1974, RS Agarwal and RS Goenka established Emami. The leading FMCG player has left the cement and healthcare industries.

Aditya, child of prime supporter RS Agarwal, didn't preclude the chance of entering prepared to-eat and prepared to-cook classes. " As a result of the new generation's entry into business, we must investigate new categories," he added. Six from the third era of the two families, including Aditya's child, have placed the business.

"While drug store corporate store Forthright Ross (with an income of Rs 500 crore) isn't one of our center regions, there is no arrangement to auction it except if we get an excellent deal," Aditya said. Emami Paper is concentrating on conceivable outcomes of procurement to extend business, he added.

Mohan Goenka, vice-chairman and full-time director of Emami, stated that the company will construct a corporate museum of more than 5,000 square feet to commemorate its 50th anniversary. The gathering is likewise arranging a meeting on February 18 and 19, the birthday events of its two pioneers.
