In separate car accidents in eastern Afghanistan, 33 individuals have died

 ISLAMABAD: Authorities reported on Sunday that two separate traffic collisions in eastern Afghanistan have resulted in at least 33 deaths and 16 injuries. Ten crashes happened in the Sorabi area of Kabul region, on the primary thruway connecting the Afghan capital, Kabul and the eastern Nangarhar territory, killing 17 individuals, including two kids and four ladies, said Khalid Zadran, representative for the Kabul police boss.

According to Zadran, ten more people were injured in the crashes and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

A statement from the Laghman police chief said that 15 people were killed in four additional collisions that took place in the eastern province of Laghman near the end of the same highway that connects Kabul and Nangarhar.

One individual was killed and six others were harmed in different pieces of Laghman area, it added. The harmed were moved to local medical clinics for therapy.

Car accidents are normal in Afghanistan, essentially due to unfortunate street conditions and the thoughtlessness of drivers on roadways.
