Telcos are fined Rs 110 crore by Trai for not responding to bothersome calls


NEW DELHI: Due to the growing threat of never-ending annoying calls and financial fraud, the government is taking severe action against mobile operators. Telecom controller Trai has forced a fine of Rs 110 crore as a "monetary disincentive" on administrators. What's more, a measure of almost Rs 1,000 crore, that was redirected by digital lawbreakers, has been recuperated by govt as it helped almost four lakh clients to recuperate their cash.
